That's amazing. His understanding of harmony is so complete. Even watching him, I can't understand how he does it. The technical stuff is as much a mystery as the music. I think his playing in the mid-range like that allows you to hear 3 different ideas (left hand & bass), (right hand and bass), and (right hand and left hand) doing things simultaneously. It's like what a hypnotist does.
